Nisarg Joshi, Vedantic Life Coach

MY STORY

I was born in Jamnagar, India and immigrated to New Jersey with my family when I was very young. Growing up in the United States was a rewarding but tough experience. I struggled with immersing myself in my new community while trying to find a better sense of direction and meaning, alongside my cultural identity.

After graduating college, I spent the next few years working on Wall Street. What I thought would finally be the most fulfilling time in my life turned out to be the emptiest. Amid other personal struggles I was going through at the time, I realized that financial success in the absence of spiritual and devotional depth is superficial and fleeting.

Looking back towards my roots for a solution, I studied the principles of Vedanta in Hinduism, and it did wonders for my mental health, personal and spiritual identity, as well as my general outlook on life. Since then, I have basked in a renewed sense of purpose. I founded Vedantic Life and started working on sharing my perspective and insight to others, many of which can relate to my experiences here in the US.

What is Vedanta?

Vedanta is essentially the central, ancient spiritual philosophy of Hinduism. Its teachings encapsulate the true relation and relevance of yourself, defined by your consciousness and personal identity, to life and the greater universe as a whole.

What I Do

My objective is to educate people on the principles of Vedanta, and how they can particularly apply those principles to greatly enhance their personal day to day lives. This includes understanding historical context and the different schools of Vedantic philosophy, what beliefs and practices these entail, and the best way they should be applied for each person.

Through Vedantic Life, I have conducted a variety of coaching for a host of different people, particularly taking their personality types and respective situations into account. I offer group, team-focused interactive learning as well as one-on-one sessions.
